The King County Council voted to approve appointments of three county residents to committees and boards in the county, according to a news release.
The King County Council approved Leanne Guier to the Priority Hire Advisory Committee, Maryjane Van Cleave to the Veterans and Seniors Human Services Levy Advisory Board's Vulnerable Populations Committee and Ginger Kwan to the Access Paratransit Advisory Board, the news release states.
The votes were unanimous.
“I am pleased that we have three such capable individuals who have graciously stepped forward to help serve their communities,” Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer, who represents District 7, said in the news release. “Leanne, Ginger and Maryjane bring a wealth of diversity and experience to their positions and I know King County will benefit from their service.”
The three residents will serve on the various committees for different time-frames. Guier's term will expire in September 2022, while Van Cleave's expires in May 2022 and Kwan's in December 2021.
