King Conservation District is now accepting applications for the Education and Outreach Specialist AmeriCorps position. KCD’s current Education and Outreach Specialist, Rosie, has served as the Education and Outreach Specialist for the past two years and coordinated with high school students and teachers to help them prepare for Washington Envirothon, an annual environmental science and knowledge competition. She’s helped to plan virtual and in-person Envirothon competitions and collaborated with teams of students from fifteen high schools across King County and the state to prepare and learn about environmental topics.
With Rosie’s service term ending this summer, the Education and Outreach Specialist AmeriCorps position is accepting applications until 6/19!
