CPR saves lives!
Today, several King County Emergency Management employees were honored by the Renton Regional Fire Authority Governance Board and King County Medic One for their quick and calm response to save a co-worker's life last month. They used CPR and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to restart Sheri's heart after she experienced cardiac arrest. Thanks to their swift thinking, Sheri (front, in striped shirt) is doing well and is back at work.
